What is User Experience (UX) Design?<\/strong><\/h1>\n

UX Design improves the user’s experience with a web or mobile product\/service. A good user experience automatically increases visibility and the desire to return for that web or mobile product\/service.<\/p>\n

UX Design also represents the work that design teams use to create products that provide users with meaningful and relevant experiences.<\/p>\n

Products that offer an excellent user experience are designed not only for consumption but for the entire process of acquisition, possession, and use. Similarly, UX designers focus not only on creating usable products but also on the user experience, such as efficiency, enjoyment, and pleasure.<\/p>\n

“No product is an island. A product is more than a product; it is an integrated set of experiences. Think through all the stages of a product or service\u2014from initial intentions to reflections after use, from the first use to help and maintenance.” These are the words of Don Norman, the inventor of the term UX.<\/p>\n

One of the most sought-after skills in the current web and mobile design market is familiarity with the idea and concept of UX Design. Why? Because websites and mobile applications are not necessarily made the way clients used to want them. Specifically, a few years ago, websites had to look as good as possible, be full of very interesting vectors, or numerous graphic elements. With the advent of UX, web and mobile designers were able to convince clients who wanted creative sites that what really matters is the user experience, and creativity comes second.<\/p>\n

UX Design is User-Centered<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Since UX design encompasses the entire user journey, it is a multidisciplinary field. Typical tasks of a UX designer vary but often include user research, interactive prototypes, as well as product testing. These tasks can vary widely depending on the organization, but they always require designers to be the user’s advocate and keep their needs at the center of all development and design efforts.<\/p>\n

Therefore, most UX designers work under some form of a user-centered process and continue to direct their efforts until they optimally address all relevant issues and meet the needs of the future user of the respective web or mobile product\/service.<\/p>\n
